What are 12 Agile principles?

The 12 Agile principles are as follows:

  1. Our main focus is satisfying customers with early, continuous software delivery.
  2. Welcome changing requirements, even late in development. Agile exploits these changes to provide customer advantage.
  3. Deliver functional software frequently, ranging from weeks to months.
  4. Daily collaboration is necessary between business and developers.
  5. Projects should be built around motivated individuals; provide what they need and trust them.
  6. Face-to-face communication is the most effective method of sharing within a team.
  7. Working software is the main measure of progress.
  8. Sustainable development is promoted. A constant pace should be maintained indefinitely by sponsors, developers, and users.
  9. Strive for technical excellence and good design to enhance agility.
  10. Simplicity, focusing on the work not done, is essential.
  11. The best architectures, requirements, and designs come from self-organised teams.
  12. Regularly, the team reflects on how to enhance and adjusts its behaviour accordingly.
